I don’t know what to do to turn off the computer somewhere, it turned blue on the first screen, and so did I. I certainly haven’t tried installing the updates one at a time, because I don’t know how, so I don’t know which update is causing the blue screen.
I’d really appreciate any help as I’m a bit scared right now.
Error 0x24: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
This was usually a problem with ntfs in .sys, the driver file that forces the system to read and write to NTFS drives.
A weak drive is a possible cause of this error. Corruption of the NTFS file system or broken (sectors) on most hard drives can cause this amazing error. Corrupt SCSI and IDE drivers can also affect the ability to start reading and writing to the hard drive console, resulting in an error.
To repair hard drive corruption, follow these steps. Check Event Viewer for errors in SCSI and FASTFAT (syslog) or Application Autochk (log) messages that can be used to determine the device or driver that caused the error. Try disabling anti-virus software or disk defragmenters that constantly monitor the system. You should also run manufacturer-supplied hardware diagnostics on the system. Run Chkdsk /f /r to find out and fix the corruption of the structure file subroutine. You need to boot my PC’s system before running a disk scan on the shared partition.
Start Windows Explorer and navigate to c:windowsminidump. Then save the files to your desktop, run Zero dmp dmp all in 1 and download the zip file so you can download your skydrive and post that link here so I can start dumping that. Debuggers should watch and look at the cause related to the crash.

Blue display after reformatting and installing VISTA HomePremium
I’m using DELL Inspiron laptops and my recovery disk shouldn’t work unless I have an explanation. So I installed a regular disc with my DVD-ROM. • During lockdown, the setup application chooses which drive to install. I chose “Advanced Option”, remembering that I deleted the C: partition (mainlyexplicitly printed) and MediaDirect (boolean). I then used all the unallocated space to create a new partition and install Windows on it.
How do I fix a blue screen permanently?
Click on advanced launch option.Click on the “Troubleshoot” option.Click the Advanced Select button.Click on System Restore.Select your account.Confirm the set password.Press “Next”.Press “Next”.
The problem occurs when the installation is complete, not to mention booting into Windows, a blue screen is displayed for 0.5 seconds, and the new system is rebooted. I tried reformatting the drive and reinstalling Windows, but the problem persists.
Can the following reason erase a MediaDirect logical drive causing a dark blue screen? Or would a full format HARD CD (including the recovery disk D:) help?)
Please let us know.
The impetus for recovery was a reinstall of Vista
If you have problems with the recovery process installed by the manufacturer, contact the manufacturer
This is their recovery process, not Microsoft

My laptop screen is missing after trying to adjust the display properties. I recently reformatted, everything seemed to work, I downloaded SP2, because of which, when I tried to fix it, I gave out a bad quality screen. Now I get the Dell logo as well as Microsoft Windows XP, then a yellow/black screen… but I can hear the charger from behind. What’s new?
